Glassdoor & Internships.com Announce Partnership To Provide Students With Company-Specific Salary & Compensation Data
Sausalito, CA – December 20, 2011 – Glassdoor, a jobs and career community, in collaboration with Internships.com, the world’s largest internship marketplace, announced today plans to integrate Glassdoor’s salary data directly on Internships.com listings. Students will now be able to research salary information for a range of full-time roles from entry-level up to more experienced positions at companies they aspire to work.
“Glassdoor is committed to providing every level of job seeker with the jobs and workplace insights they need in order to make more informed career decisions,” said Robert Hohman, CEO & Co-founder of Glassdoor. “By partnering with Internships.com, we hope to better arm the next workforce generation with the tools and resources they need when and where they need it. Knowing what is fair when it comes to salary and compensation packages can be key to starting your career on the best foot possible. ”
“Our partnership with Glassdoor enables students to understand from the get-go what their future earning potential is as they start out in their career,” said Robin D. Richards, Chairman & CEO of Internships.com. “Internships are the new job interview. With seven out of every ten internships turning into full time jobs, choosing the right opportunity to pursue is critical.”
In addition, more than three in four job seekers (79 percent) report that salary and compensation packages are the most important consideration before accepting a job, according to a recent Glassdoor survey (Glassdoor Site Survey, Oct.2011). The integration of Glassdoor on Internships.com enables students to research, directly from an internship listing, company-specific salary, bonus, and compensation details. Students are able to quickly evaluate what compensation they could receive should they pursue a career at one of the more than 150,000 companies featured on Glassdoor.
