DescriptionMedia Company seeks interns to work with producer and creative director of a movie and global literacy-education trans-media campaign based on a Pulitzer Prize winning book. The movie is being made by the producers of "Shutter Island", "Black Swan" and co-producer of "Slumdog Millionaire", and "Life of Pi". The literacy campaign is being sponsored by the top companies in India and is in partnership with agencies of the United Nations. Interns would work on a mic of creative, business and operations of the project as part of the in-house NYC team. Must have own laptop and decent Mac skills and work approximately 8-24 hours/week, depending on schedule.
We are seeking a skilled intern to join our team! The right candidate will be working as an Accounting and Graph Design intern, and also be a self starter who isn't afraid to voice their fun creative ideas!
The Graphic Design intern will assist with all design projects. And will be expected to create unique graphics based on client ideas and needs.
ResponsibilitiesAccounting Intern Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Receivable, accounts Payable, bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
- Assist with petty cash, assist with principle account.
- The graphic design intern is responsible for the creation and maintenance of graphics, presentations.
Junior/Senior in college or MBA candidate
Preferred Majors: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Graphic Design.
Available to work for approximately 8-24 hours per week.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Efficient and organized personality type.
Learn and grow in a start-up environment.
Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills is a must.
Strong ability to do problem solving and work independently as well as within a team is very important.
This is an unpaid position but is available for school credit.
