DescriptionSuccessful applicants for the Managing Consultant role will demonstrate ( one or more of the following) :
A keen interest and understanding of the challenges that operationally focused companies face, a willingness to play a leadership role, and a depth of independent team / project management experience.
Manage projects from start to finish. Maintain client relationship and drive project success. Continually conduct client interviews and facilitate client working sessions, e.g., process design workshops, operational growth strategy development sessions. Analyze and research external and client-provided information to develop thoughtful conclusions and recommendations. Create client-ready documents, and deliver powerful, effective client presentations. Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and marketing.
Serve as key point of contact and clients when necessary. Work with and lead groups. Show sensitivity to individual, group and organizational dynamics. Express Creative, “big picture” thinking while maintaining keen attention to detail.
Designing analytical models for definition of organizational structures within start-up and established companies, and creating opportunities for growth & scalability. Mapping operational processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for steamlining. Developing tools for client reporting and tracking of Key Performance Indicators. Conducting market research to guide clients through changing business realities / growth stages.
ResponsibilitiesCreating solid, strategic relationships with the business leaders is key to anticipating their needs and proactively delivering business analytics and insights as well as keeping the team on track with upcoming business activities and events. Responsibilities include supporting the product marketing function through research and analysis of the company's markets and competition. Researches and makes presentations on market data. Analyzes the competitive environment and future trends and makes recommendations based on findings.
Prepares and presents data using both Excel and PowerPoint, participate in meeting logistics that include audio/video/web conferencing, reviewing/preparing confidential materials and reports/presentations.
Coordinates, plans and implements plans to secure financial support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Creates plans for building community partnerships with organizations and agencies. Create media, plans of distribution, promotional materials, letters, newsletters, and brochures. Research suitable mailing lists and maintains databases and files. Organizes details supporting special events. Assists with coordination of special event activities such as lectures, conferences, luncheons and workshops. Prepares statistical summaries and spread sheets used for historical references. Conducting prospect research.

Enjoys multiple competing priorities and who finds satisfaction in being accountable to accomplishing results quickly and accurately. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Has training and or experience in Marketing, Marketing, Fundraising,Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, or Sales Activities, background in purchasing, television production, radio, athletics, library or museum or equivalency .
