ResponsibilitiesMARJAM SUPPLY COMPANY
Job Title: Sales Associate , manager, Monday - Friday
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
SUMMARY - Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager or designee and under the direction of a senior or, lead sales associate, with some supervision, provides pricing, through the use of MarJam Supplies computer system, to customers either via the telephone or at the branch sales counter by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Answers questions and advises customer in selection of building materials supplies, and related materials in response to requested by customer.
• Assists customer with returned materials in the showroom only.
• Enters all quotes for customers in CM.
• Enters all new customer data in CMSP.
• Straightens materials on display to maintain safe and orderly conditions in sales areas and maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
• Maintains 'Petty Cash Box'; prepare 'Pick Tickets' for Billing; and/or maintains 'Store Sales Sheet", as directed.
• Responsible for updating the 'Shipping / Receiving of Warehouse Transfers and Purchase Orders.
• On the direction of the Regional Manager maintains 'Pop-Up Pricing'
• Record minutes of Monthly Sales Meeting and forward to the Regional Manager.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
