DescriptionEssential Business Concepts is a Tax Preparation and Accounting firm that has served the Bay Area for nearly a decade. Our office is located in downtown Pleasanton. We are currently searching for an accounting assistant with an emphasis on tax return processing and support services. Becoming a successful accounting/ tax professional begins with having a passion for learning. Our goal is to nurture, train and grow our tax assistant into a successful and seasoned tax professional
Requirements- We are looking for someone with:
• Excellent accounting skills, attention to detail with the ability to prepare, analyze and evaluate accounting transactions and records. Provide support services to our tax preparer for business and individual returns.
• Excellent communication skills - including the ability to work with partners, co-workers and clients to maintain excellent client service levels while simultaneously identifying additional client service opportunities
• Working knowledge and proficiency of QuickBooks, Proseries, Microsoft Excel and Word.
