Description

Jefferson Parks and Recreation: Childcare mentors and develops over one hundred children and their accounts. This internship would call for an individual to maintain, manage, and implement correct filing of records. The position calls for a person that is detail orientated, punctual, and the ability to be flexible. The intern would learn and implement the Childcare program's policies such as fees, payment, and attendance.

Responsibilities

On a week to week bases, the candidate will be responsible for keeping records up to date by processing payments and assessing fees for late payment or any other violation of policy. Also, the candidate will be responsible for retrieval of missed pass payments or dues.

Requirements

The Intern must have a minimum of 12 hours of completed or in the process of completed college credit in the following fields; Accounting, Business, Rec and Leisure, or Education. The Individual must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, mainly Excel.

Skills

Required - Basic Accounting
Preferred - Early Childhood Education, Teaching Experience
