Description


The Business Analyst will be part of a team of highly motivated individuals responsible for performing data and trending analysis, transactional analysis across multiple large volume data sources and operational functions. He/she will interpret customer disputes into business needs and translate into data requirements, reporting, tools and dashboards. The BA will be involved in streamlining billing operations for Domestic as well as International transactions and will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with the entire organization including: Customer Operations, Business Operations, Technology, Finance, and Legal.

Responsibilities


Ability to communicate and interact with co-workers and staff in a positive manner using strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong system skills with an ability to absorb and quickly grasp billing and reporting systems.
Knowledge of Excel is required. Experience with SQL will be highly regarded.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
Strong query skills with the ability to think analytically.
Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.
Must be open-minded, flexible, and willing to promote change.

Requirements

Create and process billing events including billings, rebills, and refunds.
Extract and upload billing transactions into the database
Automate reporting protocols to gain maximum efficiency
Query production system to validate data accuracy.
Lead and participate in projects to promote and implement process improvements.
Provide critical and analytical input into development of dashboards.
Interact with international team on best reporting practices.
Perform reconciliations of customer populations to ensure Affinity and vendor systems are in line.
Prepare and distribute various reporting needs to management and other internal departments.
Communicate effectively with vendors as necessary to resolve issues and concerns.
