DescriptionCoordinate the daily activities of the payroll function to facilitate the timely delivery of payroll in an efficient manner
Generate various payroll reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory requirements
Edit, balance and review check runs for payroll audits
Establish and maintain employee/payroll records
Checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards
Maintain time and attendance records
Entering new hires into the payroll and enterprise system
Posting changes in pay and tax status and miscellaneous changes
Calculate and process garnishment orders, retirement adjustments and contributions
Calculating, recording and reconciling payroll deduction to carriers invoices
Tracking PTO accruals, time off requests and ensuring accurate record keeping
Handling unemployment claims
Federal and State labor laws as they pertain to payroll
FLSA labor standards
Knowledge of prevailing wage practices and requirements
Federal Davis-Bacon Act and Related Amendments
Basic Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires the ability to review, classify, categorize, prioritize, and / or analyze data and/or information as well as the ability to exercise discretion when referencing such analysis to established standards
