ResponsibilitiesDuties will include: image data acquisition, analysis, and reporting. The Database Clerk will assist in development and updating of standard operating procedures. In addition, utilizing theoretical knowledge and first-hand experience with the lab's research, the Database Clerk will be expected to support research activities that contribute to scientific manuscripts and collaborations with industry (e.g., information searches on the internet and through library resources, constructing figures and graphs).
Theoretical knowledge of physics, biology, or related field typically acquired through formal education at the collegiate level; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a research lab. Specifically, demonstrated ability to perform standard repetitive techniques that may be required in research protocols related to specific lab.
Demonstrated ability to carry out and track multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines.
Experience with the operation of a personal computer and software, such as MS Word and Excel. Knowledge to work with and learn new software for analysis.
Ability to compose letters, proposals, reports, presentations, and other comprehensive materials using correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, editing, formatting, and proofreading skills to clearly and concisely provide accurate information.
Proven knowledge of basic math and ability to conduct basic data analysis using Excel, R, or Matlab.
Demonstrated ability to collect and record MRI data, PACS, imaging consul.
Working knowledge of MRE data analysis to include 2D and 3D image capture, analysis and documentation.
