Description

We are currently seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to assist the company's profitability and stability as well as research and analyze financial information to help ake well informed decisions, maintain reports and monitor financial movements.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) taking into account goals and financial standing.
Assist with the assembly of data to structure sophistic trend reports on financial status and risks.
Assist Team Leaders in the maintenance of financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope.

Work Environment

Estimated 20 - 30 hours per week for a 2-3 month period with an option to extend your appointment based on contribution to the company's success as a team

Requirements

Required Skills and Background

Must be resourceful, self-motivated, customer-focused and able to work on a team.
Proven working experience in financial analysis or accounting.
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
Well informed in current financial subjects, philosophies and business environment.
BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
Able to handle conflict resolution and difficult situations under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills for communication inside and outside the company.
Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with superior attention to detail.
