Description

SUMMARY:
Maintains Payroll system records ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data are input.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance of AE, Time Clock and ADP Payroll Systems and set up of employee records/file.

Processes all employee new hires, terminations and personal data changes

Data input on changes to payroll records including benefits, taxes, wage garnishments, loan payments and all employee related payroll deductions

Records data in HRIS and Payroll systems for all department transfers and supervisor changes

Compiles bi-weekly payroll data such as hours worked using time card collection and polling of electronic time keeping systems and electronically transmits data on deadline to ADP for paycheck generation

Prepares and electronically transmits 401k reports on a bi-weekly schedule

Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll

Prepares periodic reports on earnings, taxes, and deductions

Keeps records of leave pay and non-taxable wages

Processes employment verifications

Performs all other Payroll and Human Resources related duties as required and assigned
