Description-Add new material to file records, and create new records as necessary.
-Answer questions about records and files.
-Eliminate outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage.
-Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from the broadcast coordinator, account executives, editors, and partners.
-Keep records of materials filed or removed, using logbooks or computers.
-Modify and improve filing systems, or implement new filing systems.
-Perform periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement.
-Place materials into file cabinets according to classification and identification information.
-Read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be filed.
-Sort or classify information according to guidelines.
-Track materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned.
-Design forms related to filing systems.
-Gather materials to be filed from broadcast coordinator.
-Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.

You will need the basic knowledge of most clerical duties, such as how to alphabetize files and how to use basic word processing and spreadsheet programs. You will also need to have some knowledge of how to use Outlook or GMail to send emails.
You must be detail-oriented and be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time. You will need to be able to work independently once you fully understand the job. You must be able to prioritize your workload based on the daily needs of the company.
You must have GREAT communication skills. You must be able to clearly communicate with the broadcast coordinator, business manager, account executives, editors, and partners of the company.
