Bike Maryland, a non-profit organization that works to promote bicycling and improve conditions is seeking interns who will learn first hand about the world of alternative transportation and planning, marketing and fundraising. Internship positions include: Legislative Analyst/Reporter, Research/Writing, Graphic Design, Accounting, Volunteer Coordinating, Event Planning. ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day tasks will be developed based on skills, interest, and career goals of intern. You will be expected to complete assignments either from the Bike Maryland office. Some travel in the Baltimore area required. Schedule will be decided based on intern's availability.
RequirementsPositive attitude, accountability, interest in bicycling a plus!
Skills and training in graphic design, accounting, event planning, volunteer coordination, social media, writing/research, would be an added bonus!
