DescriptionThe Humane League, a national animal rights nonprofit organization, has an immediate opening for an Administrative/Operations Intern to work one or two afternoons a week in their busy Center City office in Philadelphia.
The Humane League's work on behalf of farmed animals focuses on grassroots outreach and education; we're growing rapidly due to our results-oriented, innovative campaigns. Internships at The Humane League are unpaid but perfect for a student interested in learning about nonprofit management and/or the animal rights community.
ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day responsibilities and tasks will vary widely, but will include assisting us with: managing our membership, processing donations, helping with mailings, using Social Media, special event planning & promotion, etc.
RequirementsMust be familiar with, or willing to learn, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and Social Media. Passion for animals preferable.
