Description

This volunteer internship position will focus on strategic planning, infrastructure development, organizational growth, and administrative project management for the Emily Griffith Foundation. The volunteer intern will take ownership of infrastructure development projects, including database development, and operational organization. S/he will complete tasks to support the strategic plan, including relationship development research, development project management, etc., and will assist with administrative duties as required.

The Emily Griffith Foundation was established in 1990 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. Our mission is to provide financial support to Emily Griffith Technical College in the areas of student scholarships, capital improvements, innovative projects, instructional equipment, endowment and other needs that cannot be funded by the School's regular financial sources.

Responsibilities

The volunteer intern will take ownership of infrastructure development projects, including database development, and operational organization. S/he will complete tasks to support the strategic plan, including relationship development research, development project management, etc., and will assist with administrative duties as required.

Requirements

Excellent typing and computer skills; ability to work independently and ask for assistance as needed; proficiency in online communications and Excel; excellent written and oral communication; an interest in nonprofit administration, IT, and/or education. Knowledge of Salesforce or major database experience--a plus!
