Our blood donors are ordinary people – high school students, factory and office workers, business executives, parents and grandparents, and people from every walk of life. But they share one thing – a generous spirit, a desire to give back to their community and help others. Blood donors play an integral role in the delivery of modern healthcare. Many life-saving medical treatments and procedures involve blood transfusions and would not be possible without a safe and reliable blood supply.

We are currently seeking an intern to support our Recruitment department who is mature, dependable, and able to provide support at least three days each week.


Interns within our donor recruitment department will complete a variety of tasks that include, but are not limited to:

1. Performing complex administrative tasks
2. Compiling and generating reports, statistics, graphs, charts, correspondence, and presentations by utilizing database software
3. Taking meeting minutes
4. Ordering departmental supplies and materials
5. Special projects


We are seeking an intern who can commit to at least 20 hours each week for a minimum of 24 consecutive weeks. In addition to professional maturity and dependability, interns must be courteous and commit to maintaining a high degree of discretion. Due to the high volume of administrative responsibility, interns should have a basic competency in MS Office Suite, multi-line phone systems, and general office equipment such as a fax and copier. Priority will be given to students who have completed coursework in statistics and have at least an intermediate proficiency in Seibel, Excel, and database administration.
