Administrative Intern (Fort Lauderdale)

The House intern will work with Administrative Assistant on tasks needed and attend to Houseguest upon arrival and departure.


Interns will be required to make a 6 to 8 month commitment to the Charity. During this time Interns must dedicated 4-6 hours 3 days a week to the position. Intern will be responsible for:
-Answering phones with professionalism and courtesy
-Transfer calls to appropriate extensions or voicemail box as needed
-Take messages when necessary and deliver the message to the recipient in a timely manner.
-Check families in/out of the House
-Greet visitors/guests/ families/service providers
- Properly sign-in visitors, respite guest, and service providers
-Help process Thank you letters to be mailed to donors
-Process any other mailings assigned by Administrative assistant
-Organize bulk donations


Qualified interns must have computer skills and experience in order to:
-Enter volunteer hours into exceed
-Enter Adopt-A-Meal hours into exceed
-Retrieve data from blackbaud
-Solicit for silent auction items
-Complete Thank you letters to sponsors and donors
