Description

Playdate is a start-up based in NYC dedicated to create an iPhone/Android app that provides users and game developers a dynamic, simplified and fun social gaming platform.

Everyone can agree – gaming, as a collaborative social experience can be very exciting. Plus, developers would rather focus on their games' creativity and design, than scalability and back end necessities.

With this in mind, we decided to build a unique multi-player gaming platform: Playdate.

Our goal is to make users and developers better off.

First, we provide users with incentives to engage their network into a one-of-a-kind gaming experience - sign up for our alpha tournaments with playBucks which are redeemable into real gifts!

Second, we minimize the work that game developers have to do by transforming a single player into a multiplayer game as well as many social features that significantly increase their user-base.

Responsibilities

- Organize and collect progress reports
- Monitor project calendar, ensuring project is on schedule and in budget

Requirements

- Understand cost-reduction principles and how to implement goals
- Possess skills at assessing issues, defining solutions, and implementing strategy
- Perform well in environment that values leadership, efficiency, dependability, and organization
