Act as the SME and liaison between ECS and Supply Chain to ensure that goods and services are delivered in a timely manner and meets business/operation needs.
Prepare purchase requisitions, including bid requests for goods and services, and compiling all scope of work including justification of awards.
Responsible for facilitating recurring meetings with ECS upper management on results of operations such as project development, key metrics, and initiatives.
Develop BPOs/POs dashboard reporting for monitoring, tracking, and reporting procurement activities by vendors and work categories to upper management.
Assist with redesigning and implementing the capital accounting structure with
scalability for budgeting and reporting purposes. Document, improve, and establish new policies and procedures as necessary.
Work Order Management:
Responsible for creating, charging, and closing ISP and OSP work orders. Work collaboratively with OSP, Engineering, and Plant Accounting to compile work order package and to ensure all appropriate documentations are in SAP System for capitalization, reporting, and analytical purposes.
Coordinate with FAO and IT to maintain sufficient inventory levels, stage and deliver material to work site, and ensure periodic inventory counts are performed accurately and timely to prevent inventory obsolescence.
Ad Hoc Report:
Prepare non-PO payment requests, ad hoc reporting, and accounting support with month end reconciliations, journal entries, and closing.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned as relevant to support specific project(s) or overall department.
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
Typically possesses five or more years of analytical experience.
Must be proficient in MS office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
CPA certification preferred.
Experience utilizing SAP, BEx Analyzer or related systems preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with GAAP standards and principles.
Familiarity with financial planning and accounting methodologies.
Experience with Access, Visio and MS Project preferred.
Experience performing ad-hoc financial analysis, including identifying client needs, gathering relevant information from appropriate stakeholders, and presenting information to upper management.
Excellent communication skills, listening and negotiation skills in order to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly through various means, including written and oral communications with all levels of the organization up to and including executive management.
Experience developing and facilitating presentations and recommendations for department and upper management, business line directors, and corporate officers.
Demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, manage confidential information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
