DescriptionWe are currently looking for an individual to work on our team as part of our Business Marketing Administrative team as an Administrative Operations Coordinator. Our 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization (www.libertyrun.org) is dedicated to providing a number of social, mental and physical support to veterans. A volunteer position to start, the Administrative Operations Coordinator would work within the administrative scope the Liberty Run Foundation business operations and could become a full time paid position to the right candidate. A vital part of our mission, the Business Operations Associate and the administrative team supports the fundraising events related to this cause and marketing our sporting events is a key to our success.
ResponsibilitiesInterns will be expected to maintain a planning log with ongoing task management list. Interns will be attached to an event planning team as an assistant and required to participate in event planning presentations. Assist in the budget building process as well as budget managing of a fund raising sports event. Interns will be given the task of righting articles on our Blog, Facebook page, and web based media sites. Compose and coordinate email blast of the quarterly newsletter to our subscribers. Business marketing planning would include the scope of events sponsored by the organization to raise funds and awareness as well as events that support our veteran programs. Travel with the foundation would be required on occasion but is not required for all events.
RequirementsA volunteer position to start, the Administrative Operations Coordinator would be working in relation to the above operational element and would be involved with the managing other facets that include marketing, communications, event budgeting, and administrative processes. In addition to business operations planning, the day to day duties will include event fundraisers, market evaluation and strategy planning would be included as part of the Administrative Operations Coordinator marketing program. Candidates must have coursework or experience related to business operations, planning, marketing, advertising, and have good social media presentation. A curriculum supported by business studies, marketing, advertising, and public communications with good verbal and written skills very important. Creative writing perspective, and experience also very important.
