DescriptionIndianapolis Business Consultants is a private consulting firm on the South East side of Indy. IBC works with fortune 500 companies across the United States. In the Indianapolis area our current client is AT&T. IBC is expanding very rapidly! We are providing an internship for an administration role. Daily duties include helping our Human Resources Manager with all of the duties including but not limited to developing and administer recruiting programs. Responsible for recruitment, screening, and selection of candidates for specialized recruitment programs. Responsible for developing strong relationships with targeted sources (i.e., universities and other specialized recruitment sources) to identify, attract, and recruit candidates in a competitive market. Sources candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Identifies and places targeted advertising, assess effectiveness of recruitment activities, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and implementation of recruiting programs. Works with hiring managers to document requirements for open positions. Routinely interacts with senior level executives. Pre-screens candidates and consults with management to ensure compliance measures are fulfilled throughout the candidate evaluation and interview process. Supports hiring manager in developing new hire compensation offers. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance to lesser experienced personnel. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods.
ResponsibilitiesIndividual will work with hiring managers and other members of the recruitment team to source, screen, interview, and hire talented individuals for internal positions and various consulting roles.
Implement targeted sourcing initiatives and generate a pipeline of candidates in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across activities
Utilization of nontraditional recruitment methods (i.e. social media, internet, networking, and cold calling) will be a part of the daily role
Perform regular follow-up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruiting/sales process.
Must be an aggressive self-starter with excellent prospecting, relationship building, and closing skills.
Strong organization and time management skills
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring managers and business leaders
A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills, and a high standard of professionalism and character
Excellent written and oral communication skills
RequirementsMicrosoft office suite experience
Some College preferred
