DescriptionWe are a small, USDA Beef processing Plant. We make a Ready to Eat Shelf Stable product called Biltong which is similar to a beef Proscuitto. We Co-Pack for many different companies and print custom labels for theirs' and our own bags. Getting the correct labels, for the correct bags with the correct bar codes and lot numbers printed in the correct quantities. We are looking for someone who is able to focus on this task and create the necessary labels and for the various companies. This role would be part time, and could very quickly be organized and compartmentalized into 10 -20 hours per week max. The company is growing extremely fast and we have roles opening up in all areas on the company. A motivated individual could take on more roles like Photoshop label design and new product packaging development.
ResponsibilitiesAssessing inventory levels of labels and creating necessary labels for orders.
Ordering and cataloging existing labels against products and documenting processes. In effect almost automating their own job and leaving the position in a better place than they found it. Potential for further roles to be taken on. We are a small company and growing quickly with many new roles and needs forming every day.
General IT literacy.
Laptop using Windows with Commercial Printer and printer software to print labels.
Using Photoshop to manipulate existing labels and create new ones as needed.
