DescriptionWeston Intelligence Services Corp is a boutique Private Intelligence / Investigative Agency founded in 2004 by private investigator, Richard Weston. Weston has been headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since 1988 and conducting investigations world wide. Mr. Weston is widely regarded in the legal and insurance defense arena as worlds foremost expert at defending Global insurance against fraud and deception.
We are seeking an document controller intern to work along side Mr. Weston to manage his personal day to day administrative duties as well as implement control over all documents including but not limited to all investigative intelligence reports and video evidence. This position is available now and has the potential to continue long term for the right candidate. The intern selected will be rewarded with the highest hourly rate in the industry as well as the flexibility of working from home and flexible hours.
This is a new position that is being created primarily to provide direct support to Mr. Weston to increase his effectiveness as well as office organization, document production and control.
Responsibilities- Assist with editorial projects and provide support to the Communications Editor.
- Proofreading both hard and electronic files, basic copyediting, and writing of proposals and reports;
- Assisting with or proofing of basic ads, flyers, brochures, invitations, etc.
- Work on special projects, as needed
Requirements- Working towards or recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, business communications, or communication arts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience/interest in Web maintenance
- Familiarity with Adobe In Design and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
