As our families, friends and loved ones age, a wide range of conditions may affect their daily lives, requiring home care from a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or companion sitter who will assist them to remain in the comfort of their own home. From long-term Alzheimer's and Parkinson's care to short term hospice care or temporary respite relief care, GrannyNANNIES can help.
Home health care is an often misunderstood concept. It is available for people of any age, individuals with terminal cancer, who are disabled or bed-ridden, have trouble keeping up with their medications, or even just need help with everyday activities such as bathing, meal preparation and dressing.
Caregiver services are personalized to meet your home care requirements and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your caregiver will follow your instructions specific to your wants and needs; in some cases it may be necessary to consult with your loved ones physician(s), hospital, social worker(s) or nursing home. We are very committed to your family's privacy and will not discuss any of your information without prior authorization.
All caregivers are verified as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) and are then screened through stringent checks of their credentials, national criminal background, references and physical condition. But we don't stop there; in order to become a care provider, all must display the kindness and compassion needed to care for others.
We are looking for an intern wanting to gain the skills necessary to own/operate a healthcare business. We need someone who is great at multi-tasking and is versatile. There are multiple balls to be juggled when being an entrepreneur and we want to equip our intern with the tools necessary to operate a highly efficient and highly profitable business.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service in a home health care setting, helping family members, visitors, and caregivers
- Understand relationships among healthcare personnel, preferably in clinic setting
- Provide support role to administrator and learn the inner workings of a home health care office
- Perform well in environment that values compassion, helpfulness, patience, and resourcefulness
- Perform well in a versatile environment
- Performs well as a member of a growing team
- Extremely thorough and organized
- Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Internet experience is a must
- The desire to succeed in the healthcare administration field
