DescriptionWe are a bridal design house based in Irvine, CA and distribute to stores across the country. We are looking for highly motivated candidates that have a keen eye for fashion and commitment to service as we grow our customer base. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to service, be able to multi task while working independently and have a genuine interest in people. Also demonstrate a strong knowledge and connectivity to pop culture, art, music, fashion, and all things wedding. This is a paid position.
-Process daily reorders, cash receipts, and collecting payments from customers.
-Be able to handle and answer customers questions relating to product, ship dates, returns, or damaged products
-Work with shipping department to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
-You will be building relationships with current customer base and be able to attract new accounts.
-The candidate will work closely with account base to better understand customer satisfaction in order to improve services.
-Manage calendar, deadlines, meetings with heads of Sales and Marketing to make decisions on which shows to attend
-Packing and shipping for all shows
-Writing weekly news articles, short copy, and press releases for topics briefed by Account Supervisor.
-Assist in posting, assembling several blogs and enewsletters each month.
-Upload pictures, product descriptions, articles and more to company database
-Send weekly, monthly and bi-annual account newsletters updates.
-Assist in managing followers and driving traffic to social media platforms with posts of industry news, press releases, articles, blogs, trade show updates, etc.
-Seasonally responsible for uploading content relating to product description, resizing images, landing pages, and uploading content to websites.
-Writes article detail product descriptions for content used by marketing websites, lifestyle blogs, and fashion search engines.
-Gather, clean, and steams samples for site requests
-Coordinate with attending reps and team members to determine materials are needed to execute trade shows from setup and teardown, lead processing, making appointments, etc.
-Performs other job duties as needed and assist with helping any ongoing projects in the office.
RequirementsWe are looking for students in college or recent college graduations that want to work in a team environment to advance the success of our Company.
-Strong communication skills, writing ability, and organizational skills for planning and timeline task management and multi tasking are a must.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe) skills are not required, but a plus.
- Understand cost-reduction principles and how to implement goals
- Possess skills at assessing issues, defining solutions, and implementing strategy
- Perform well in environment that values leadership, efficiency, dependability, and organization
-Have a flexible schedule and being willing and able to work additional hours when needed.
-Bend, lift, open, and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1-25 lbs, depending on need.
