The Pulse does event coverage and video marketing with an interview style!
We are the E-news of San Diego but instead of focusing on celebrity gossip, we celebrate and focus on the amazing businesses in San Diego! We spotlight local business owners and learn about their personal story.
Cindy, the host of the TV show, will come to your event or business, try your products and services on camera, talk to some of your best clients, and give your potential customers an inside view of your company. We are all about fun, and we make this an interactive, natural experience. Instead of talking to a camera, you are having a real conversation with Cindy, in a relaxed setting, with a tailored set of questions to target potential clients.
If you are hosting an event and would like to create a buzz, we come out and interview guests, the co-hosts, and sponsors, all with a hip, stylish tone!

In this position, we are looking for someone to help with administrative tasks and scheduling appointments and maintaining our calendar.

Responsibilities

- Organize and collect progress reports
- Monitor project calendar, ensuring project is on schedule and in budget
-assist on booking appointments and managing day to day calendar/events/video shoots
-entering data into mail chimp or database management
-Handles all coordinating of Cindy’s Schedule, day to day appointments, meetings, follow up calls, scheduling. Will meet every Monday am to go over schedule for the week.

-Will be the liaison between Cindy and all contacts trying to reach her for information, details on the Pulse, ect. (go to lady for everything)

-Will be responsible for working with Cindy and team to schedule the clients on the Pulse TV show and setting up segment times, and coordinating details with the clients. This will include debriefing the client, sending them talking points and questions for segment ahead of time. Includes, meeting clients as they come to the studio, in the conference room, getting them comfortable before they go on air. Addressing any concerns they may have before we bring them up to the studio for interview.

-Watch time between filming to keep the schedule of the day and so no clients are waiting for longer than necessary at the studio.

-Attend to clients make sure they have water or coffee.

-Follow up with clients after filming segment before it airs to give them air details and coordinate social media marketing with them to promote the event/segment airing. Also coordinate when they will receive a copy of segment for their purposes.

-Follow up with clients customer service wise to see how their experience was.

Work with Marketing to make sure we are all on the same page about promoting the show and scheduling new clients on the show.

Requirements

- Understand cost-reduction principles and how to implement goals
- Possess skills at assessing issues, defining solutions, and implementing strategy
- Perform well in environment that values leadership, efficiency, dependability, and organization

Skills

Required - Wordpress Design, MailChimp
Preferred - Excel
