Description

Camp Italia Retreat (C.I.R.) is a summer camp for kids open to children between the ages of 7-17 in Worcester. CIR has an IRS tax standing of a 501-c3. We are gearing up again for the next summer season and need part time help in the office now. CIR is a small no-profit that is currently managed by one individual. Because of time restraints CIR is in need of help to make sure CIR is ready for the summer session. Even though this is a non-paying internship. Some parts of the internship does offer compensation, which can be discussed more during interview.

Responsibilities

Tasks will include, but not limited to putting mailers together. Communicate using the phone, internet and other mediums of communication. Provide information to non-profit and for profit companies. Follow ups on administrative tasks as outlined. Because C.I.R. is a small company, the intern chosen will have exposure to multiple types of positions that a bigger company would only hire one person for. This can be a great resume builder for the right person.

Requirements

Requirement desired: We are looking for someone to help immediately. As time gets closer to summer. We may have additional requirements that may need to be filled. Time need to allocate is one day a week with min of 4 hours. No degree required. Have the ability to work alone once task is understood. Will need to know and understand the mission of this non-profit prior to starting. Know how to get around on internet and use Microsoft programs (word, excel )
