DescriptionThe Payroll Manager is based on Operations Management as well & Project manager is based in Coordinating and there are responsible for the supervision, organization and coordination of projects according to specific functions assigned by Director of teams. Responsible for all Engineering Administration Functions system management. This position requires consistent adherence to policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures as stated in this firm wns.
ResponsibilitiesUnder general guidance of project manager or Director of Engineering and within the prescribed limits of the establishes policies and procedures, is responsible for all projects coordination functions such as but not limited to request of written quotes, purchase orders procedures, routing and proper distribution including filing accordingly and communication to vendors. Prepares and follow-up status on checks following all necessary procedures including all necessary documentation, back-up and necessary filing as required.
Create and maintain capital projects spreadsheets and project status, also controls books for every single project with all necessary documentation as required by Biltmore Hotel. Also prepares AIA contracts, change orders, application of payments and release of liens requests.
Coordinate installation with vendors, materials with project manager and assorted projects between departments.
All administrative and clerical functions related to his/her area.
Prepare daily/weekly departmental payroll records and handling personnel matters for the department also prepare and submit the yearly Payroll/Vacation Budget.
Partner with Engineering Supervisors to optimize engineering staff productivity in our three different shifts
Optimize resources (parts and materials), including implementing stringent inventory control procedures for all parts and materials.
Submit End Of Month Report.
Indirectly supervise staff and training. Support special projects and attend Managers meetings when needed.
Assist Chief Engineer in implementing procedures to improve productivity and customer service, and help define the responsibilities of supervisory-level staff.
Interacts with contractors and vendors, search for products/services and prices, prepares and routes purchase orders based in previous quotation, place the orders, follow-up delivery of products. Process all paper work in timely manner for vendor/suppliers payment. Interacts with supervisors in purchasing of parts and services.
Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other departments.
