About the Job

CEO for small firm seeking part time business/personal assistant or a right hand woman/man. Hours from 9-5pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility in start/end times. Occasional after hours calls and/or texts as situations arise. The ideal candidate will be organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once, be confident and assertive, have a proactive mind and the ability to problem solve, be computer proficient, and have knowledge of basic business/financial practices.

This is half virtual and half in person job. Please only apply if you are in the Atlanta, GA, USA area only.


Responsibilities will fall into three main categories: (This are some but are not limited to)

1) Company Affairs – assisting CEO with coordination of various tasks and to-dos, arranging business travel, arranging business events, communicating with staff, general office administration duties.
2) Personal Business Affairs – assisting CEO with other business matters unrelated to the company i.e. bill payments, banking, balancing finances
3) Personal Non-Business Affairs – miscellaneous errands, maintaining schedule, arranging travel, etc.


Duties: (This are some but are not limited to)

* Maintains employer's calendar by setting, monitoring, and confirming appointments; reminding employer of schedules; preparing visitors; developing itineraries.

* Protects employer's time by screening, researching, and managing correspondence, messages, telephone calls, and visitors; preventing interruptions; resolving issues.

* Arranges activities and services by identifying and clarifying needs and desires; researching options; making reservations for dining, travel, lodging, entertainment, rentals, gifts, sporting events, couriers, medical services; scheduling and supervising home entertainment, parties, dinners, maintenance, housekeepers, and cooks; running errands; shopping for necessities and gifts.

* Anticipates assistance needed by identifying problems, needs, options, and solutions before being asked.

* Provides secretarial services by drafting correspondence; transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data and graphics; establishing and maintaining files and records; collecting and analyzing information; preparing reports.

* Maintains employer's privacy by keeping information confidential.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks.

* Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
