DescriptionInspire Me 2 Change (IM2C) is a mentor, coaching and consulting business. IM2C is a company that focuses on inspiring positive change in at risk communities through education and advocacy. Though IM2C is a for profit, you would also be doing work for our non-profit organization, Life Outside the Streets (L.O.T.S). We are looking for a personal assistant to the founder, someone who can pay explicit attention to detail and is great with multi-tasking in a fast paced environment. We are based in Philadelphia but there may be opportunities to travel with the program. The incumbent would need to be local enough to get to events located in Philadelphia. We desire someone who can take initiative with minimal supervision, able to communicate effectively and efficiently (written and verbal), has a flexible schedule and aware of prioritizing. The intern should also have an excellent understanding of standard administrative roles and be prepared to surpass, able to socialize in any environment and willing to contribute ideas and strategies to assist/expand.
This position will require document preparation, note-taking, call recording, answering services/message delivery & follow-up, errand services, itinerary management/planning, meeting preparation/follow-up and more. You will successfully be able to use this position as an employment/experience reference, obtain letters of recommendation and building a portfolio.
ResponsibilitiesThe intern may be expected to do some work on-site as well as virtual/independently. The intern will establish and maintain a consistent work schedule with co-workers and employer. Communication will be the most important factor of this position as things are hectic with the work environment constantly changing. Schedules are to be strictly adhered to and in case we didn't mention communication, that's key!
Requirements- Must be 18 or older with High School Diploma
- Must be comfortable working in christian environment
- Must have intermediate knowledge/experience with MS Office
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have reliable method of communication (i.e. phone, computer, etc)
