Behavioral Health and Leadership Dynamics, LLC (BHLD) is a training institute providing accredited certification in life coaching and health and wellness, established over 20 years ago. Margaret McCraw, Ph.D., MBA, LCSW-C, Founder of BHLD is seeking a personal assistant who can help her in a variety of areas at home and at work in exchange for accredited certification training.

An ideal candidate would be required to have excellent computer skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and sound judgement. The Volunteer/Intern would need to commute to her home and office location which are located in Baltimore, Maryland (zip codes 21212 and 21218). Some work may be completed virtually.

Flexible hours -- Monday through Friday

While this is a non-paid position, the Volunteer/Intern may be offered the opportunity to take accredited certification training in exchange for hours worked at BHLD.

Office environment management
Occasionally travel with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations
Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing;
Assisting interns with carrying out specific priority projects and research
Organizing and maintaining confidential documents, student information and other databases
Handle incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager;
Carry out background research and present findings
Act as liaison for prospective students and organization leaders/executives
Pet Sitting and Caretaking of cats (home and office)
Organizing mail and payments due
