DescriptionWe are looking for a talented individual to support the CEO & CFO in the development of the business. This Intern position offers the applicant exposure to multiple business disciplines, covering various projects, as well as providing support to the sales teams we have in-market. More specifically it will give the applicant insight into how to build a great performing business in the areas of sales, marketing support and general administration. This is an opportunity to work with a small, collaborative team at a quickly growing company.
The role will report to, and work alongside, the CFO as well as execute projects specifically for the CEO. This internship is part-time, commencing immediately, and is based out of the New York City head office. The duration is at least 3 months, however may be extended based on performance in role. Hours per week will be minimum of 8, up to 25hrs. The internship is a paid position.
ResponsibilitiesProviding general administration support
Assist sales managers with achieving monthly sales objectives
Support on specific projects, focusing on sales and marketing execution
Undertake ad hoc analysis and forecasting for management
Support the development of general business processes and procedures
General project management
Must be a flexible, with the ability to focus on completing tasks in a timely manner. Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, and demonstrated ability to analyze work processes and make efficiency improvements. More specifically:
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Strategy, Marketing or Entrepreneurship
Expert in Microsoft Excel with a preference for understanding of Powerpoint and / or Keynote.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn
Detail oriented with ability to effectively problem solve
Strong analytical and communication skills
Natural talent to identify inefficiencies and continuously evolve processes
