Description

We are currently seeking a talented Public Relations Intern to work alongside our Marketing team. This is a paid internship opportunity with the potential to turn into a full-time position.

The PR Intern will hone writing, social media, and media relations skills while helping the PR team develop targeted media lists, draft pitches, track media placements, and coordinate sample requests for key media contacts at the nation's top newspapers, magazines, online, and broadcast outlets. This internship is a great opportunity for anyone looking to jumpstart their career in PR.

Responsibilities

The PR Intern will be responsible for:

Keeping track of and updating editorial calendar and assembling product roundup pitches
Monitoring for trends on social media and in the media throughout the week
Tracking media placements and reporting
Looking for ways to build relationships with target reporters
Coordinate assembling and sending out the Holiday Look Book
Coordinate mailing gift bags to strategic magazine contacts
Helping to draft product pitches
Processing sample returns
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Key Required Skills(Languages):

Excellent written and communication skills
Excellent follow-through and follow-up required
Superior organization skills a must
Working knowledge of public relations
Multimedia experience, including website and social media management
