Position Overview
The Research Associate’s responsibilities include “scrubbing” responsive data received from various sources to determine whether the data contains funds belonging to TLSG’s clients, inputting claims into our database, and researching various sources and databases to validate and support filing a claim for such funds. Additionally, the Research Associate will assist with general administrative functions such as copying, scanning, and mailing.

He/she must be entering his/her sophomore or junior year and be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during the school year and full time during the Summer and Fall/Spring semester breaks. Candidates should not be planning to study abroad. This position is available immediately.

Responsibilities

• “Scrubbing” responsive data received from various sources to determine whether the data contains funds
belonging to TLSG’s clients
• Inputting claims into our database, and researching various sources and databases to validate and support filing a claim for such funds.
• Will assist with general administrative functions such as copying, scanning, and mailing.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications (versions 2007 and later).
• Extremely detail and accuracy oriented.
• Very organized and focused.
• Willingness to learn and take direction, yet able to work independently.
