DescriptionLauren Daversa Events is a full service event planning company located in south Florida, New York and Italy. The president of the company is seeking high and low for a few extraordinary, highly motivated and polished candidates to provide personal assistance.
If you are an intelligent, jack of all trades, with superior character and integrity, energetic, conscientious, warm, caring and intelligent with the ability to support the entrepreneurial mastermind who built The Daversa Group with no initial startup into a successful event planning company then please say hi.
We work out of a home office, on the roads of South of Florida all the way to the the country side of Florence. You must be able to provide competent assistance, and in return, you will learn the business from hands on experience, from the ground up.
This superhuman assistant needs to be organized, punctual, dedicated and responsible. You must be able to think outside the box, take direction and follow through with tasks. You must be eager to learn and able to do it all with a smile on your face.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is unpaid for a trial period. If you fit the bill, we will provide a stipend.
RequirementsWe need help with setting up websites, managing databases, attending planning meetings, maintaining a calendar, composing blog entries, submitting wedding for publication, updating budgets, expense reports, learning the ins and outs of event set up and break down, handling concierge services, partaking in DIY crafting and about one million other tasks related to planning an event and assisting the mastermind behind the events.
- Interest in or pursuing a degree in Hospitality/Marketing/PR/Event Management
- Knowledge of MS Word, MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- GPA 3.5 or higher
- Part Time - 7 days a week
- Available to travel
