Description

This new edition will report to the CFO. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a creative organization with a roll up your sleeves mentality.

Responsibilities

Key Functions: Employee Relations, Performance Management, HR Policy creation & administration, Re-vamping the employee handbook, semi-monthly payroll, implementation of bonus structure, Compliance, other HR projects and strategic initiatives.

· Coach and counsel employees and managers on performance management issues and conflict resolution/management; Provide resolutions

· Administer and facilitate disciplinary actions and terminations and provide guidance to employees and managers

· Provide, update and ensure compliance of company policies and procedures

· Facilitate HR polices and strategies

· Provide support to team leaders regarding their professional development and the development of their direct reports

· Recruit and manage hourly employees

· Facilitate Intern Program Facilitate and administer the review/performance evaluation process

· Obtain visas for new employees (H1B, O1, E3), tracking expiration dates, liaising with our attorneys and candidates

· ACA compliance and maintaining employee records

· Develop and administer orientation/on-boarding and welcome to L+P

· Benefits administration and open enrollment

· Payroll Preparation

· Update and maintain salary information, benefit withholding and 401K elections

· Enroll New Hires in appropriate portals

· HRIS

Requirements

Requirements:

-Bachelor s Degree,IT,entry level

-Prior industry experience within a creative services environment

-Entrepreneurial spirit. A desire to wear a variety of hats and who is able to implement newly created HR policies and procedures.
