DescriptionWilton & Bain is an international executive search firm, a headhunting business.
We specialise in the technology and professional services sectors, working typically on projects at the VP, Managing Director and C level.
We have offices in London and San Francisco and work on mandates across Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently looking for an intern to join a newly created team, called Strategic Support.
We have created this position to manage all of these essential administrative tasks, in order that our consultants can spend more time actually calling and meeting candidates.
This means any successful applicant must have high attention to detail, strong written skills, ability to pick up new topics quickly and conduct research and good organisational abilities.
This position has the opportunity to become permanent if both parties are satisfied with the work and performance.
We are looking for this internship to be based at our HQ in the City of London (near Liverpool Street). Expected hours 0830-1730 Monday-Friday. This would be a paid internship.
ResponsibilitiesThe Strategic Support group is responsible for administrative tasks including:
Database entry and management
Quality control of written work (proof reading, editing)
Internet research particularly around market mapping to identify candidates for our consultants to speak with
Interview scheduling for candidates
RequirementsHigh attention to detail
Strong written skills
Ability to pick up new topics quickly and conduct research on them
Good organisational skills
Previous experience in an office/administrative environment would be preferable. Degree in a subject requiring high quality written work and research (e.g. essay based coursework) preferable e.g. English Literature, Psychology, Business, Modern Languages, Classics etc.
