Description

The Ashlee Agency (TAA) is a networking consulting firm for small and medium size businesses. We enjoy increasing the visibility of businesses and elevating their business profile.
This is an unpaid internship, in which the intern will be primarily responsible for a supporting role in on-going projects for The Ashlee Agency.
This will require actively collaborating with the CEO, team, business partners, clients, TAA affiliates and potential speakers. The intern’s assignments may include: coordinating with speakers to draft marketing copy for programs, assisting with preparing speakers’ materials, confirming logistical details with team, assisting with attendee inquiries, follow ups, and more. Other projects may arise during the term and will be discussed and assigned as suited to the intern’s skills. This is an office-based role, with nearly all work taking place via computer, phone or face-to-face meetings.

Over the course of their internship, the student can expect to gain insight into the strategic planning and leadership involved in providing professional development programs, as well as experience with Microsoft office products typically used for business functions. The intern will become familiar with the various roles and staffing functions that are typical of a business and non-profit organization, and will begin to understand how the different departments work together as a team to successfully provide programs and services to their members.
