DescriptionThe Global Paint for Charity seeks individuals, strongly committed to our vision and mission, to participate in the leadership of our organization. The Global Paint for Charity, Inc. (AKA "GPC" or "Global Paint") is a non-profit organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia working together with commercial businesses, residential households, and Paint Manufacturers in the United States in an effort to recycle post-consumer Latex paint to change lives and beautify communities throughout the world. We have redistributed more than 120,000 gallons of paint to help with renovation and rejuvenation of family homes, homeless shelters, schools, churches, orphanages, and hospitals in many major cities in the U.S. and targeted communities around the world.

The Volunteer Coordinator shall balance the needs of our current projects with the availability of volunteers to coordinate the volunteer schedule. Through the use of electronic media, the Coordinator shall disseminate the schedule to the volunteers (as applicable).
Volunteer job functions can include light warehouse works including sorting, stocking and maintenance, product procurement through pick-ups, staffing the warehouse facility, training new volunteers, and other duties as assigned. Recruiting is about properly placing the volunteer, based upon skills and experience, to match the needs of the assignment.
After identifying the necessary tasks and developing each corresponding job description, the Volunteer Coordinator shall assign volunteers based upon their respective skill set and the most immediate need in the organization. Care shall be given to balance the needs and skills of the volunteer(s) with the goal and mission of the Global Paint for Charity. It may be necessary to modify a job description to make it attractive or available to a particular type of volunteer. The Coordinator should be flexible with the volunteer workforce without compromising the integrity of the organization.
