Vision House Publishers is the publisher of Visions Christian Magazine. We are a quarterly Christian publication. We publish books and periodicals. We advertise Christian businesses, and feature well-knowned Christian authors and ministries.

We need a Advertising manager to schedule the advertising for our magazine, and Internet. The Advertising manager will work with others in this department to develop an advertising budget, allocating specific funds toward all advertising media.


Advertising managers also coordinate the design and creation of all advertising by delegating work to copywriters and advertising coordinators. An advertising manager may maintain a project list so he meets the deadline for completing all advertising materials or storyboards, and creative publication ads. Advertising managers also select, hire and train advertising sales and support employees, then assess their work through annual performance reviews.

The Advertising manager will work with marketing research and brands to determine the key target audience for the publication's advertising message. Also Determining a target audience for advertising. Advertising managers may also study the average usage rate or visit frequency of customers, distinguishing between light and heavy users of our publication.


Advertising managers need excellent communication, problem-solving and negotiating skills. Must know how to communicate with all levels of management and employees, write reports and prepare presentations for meetings. Advertising managers must also use problem-solving skills to understand why certain advertising is not as effective as others. Negotiating skills are necessary for getting advertising agencies to conduct projects for less money, or persuading the marketing or advertising director to implement certain advertising mix strategies. Degree in advertising/Marketing preferred.
