MWG has an immediate opening for an Internship in our Advertising Operations department. In this fast paced role, you will work closely with our experienced Ad Ops Coordinators to coordinate advertising campaigns and manage back-end campaign operations, including trafficking, reporting, analysis, pacing, troubleshooting and ongoing campaign management and optimization. Ad Ops Coordinators ensure campaign set-up is completed in a timely manner and all trafficking is accurate, as well as streamline internal campaign operations across MyWebGrocer teams, such as data, ad ops, brand ops, marketing and development. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-parties, where applicable, in order to launch campaigns according to plan.
Ad Ops works closely with our sales and account management teams to help manage advertising campaigns, providing expertise on all aspects of advertising and educating internal and external clients on platform requirements. Ad Ops Coordinators are experts on MyWebGrocer services and are comfortable transferring knowledge to CPG partners.
Responsibilities•Execute and coordinate advertising campaigns to ensure timely launch. Execute trafficking, pacing, troubleshooting and reporting related tasks.
•Work with a Campaign Coordinator to facilitate general campaign management, client communication and sales support for assigned CPG accounts/campaigns.
•Track campaign pacing to prevent under-performing campaigns.
•Provide technical support for assigned campaigns and act as a general resource for technical advertising questions.
•Educate CPG partners throughout the campaign set-up process.
•Identify and respond to campaign related issues. Anticipate and prevent common ad serving, tagging and trafficking errors.
•Monitor campaign performance and make optimization recommendations as needed.
•Produce detailed end of campaign evaluations to highlight key takeaways and provide insightful analysis.
•Ensure accurate and timely campaign management (48 hour turnaround time maximum, 100% trafficking accuracy).
•Manage External Client Communication – host conference calls, respond to emails and attend meetings to educate partners on advertising opportunities and platform requirements.
•Keep account documentation updated in a timely manner (within 48 hours of a change).
•Brainstorm improvements to current campaign set-up workflow, problem solving processes and general campaign management to streamline operations.
Requirements•Current college student or recent 4 year degree graduate.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
•Experience working with HTML is preferred.
•Strong computer and internet skills; Windows platform and web based applications.
•Must be proactive and work with a minimum amount of supervision, as well as part of a larger team.
•Excellent written and oral communications skills.
•Self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Analytical skills necessary to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and form an appropriate solution.
•Experience using DoubleClick/DART preferred but extensive training will be provided.
•Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical.
