About this position:
QBOT is currently building a world-class sales organization. Our mission is to reinvent the way businesses connect with consumers at the local level and we are committed to bringing the best mobile rewards and loyalty program to merchants and consumers across the world. QBOT's mission is to serve merchants by connecting them to their most valued consumers and provide real, relevant marketing solutions.
1. We will be hosting a weekend-long leadership and sales training seminar this January in the great city of Columbus, OH. There you will attend our QBOT U training academy. Topics covered will be our QBOT sales process, role-play, guest speakers, fun activities, and leadership training. This is a weekend you don’t want to miss out on. You are getting a head start by coming on board now!
2. This is a paid internship.
3. It is not a desk job – you’re going to be working face to face with local business owners, talking to them about a profitable partnership with QBOT through our mobile application. If you want real world numbers on your resume, real life experience, and real things to talk about in future interviews you have come to the right place.
4. All majors and grade levels are welcome to apply– we hire freshman!
Responsibilities:
As a Sales Representative, you will:
• Attend weekend long sales training program through the QBOT U training academy - an expenses paid training in Columbus, OH (January 2014)
• Consult one-on-one with local and national businesses in your college market about their advertising platform
• Sell and market QBOT
• Develop skills on managing a territory, prospecting, building rapport, and closing the sale
• Enhance interpersonal communication, time-management, and confidence
• Gain experience working as an individual and in a team environment
• Work 25 hours per week during the semester
• Opportunity to continue on with us and possible future, full-time employment
