Description

We are a startup in the online advertising space. Our products help small businesses advertise online. We're looking to bring on interns with an interest in marketing, seo, ppc, mobile advertising, digital advertising, and learning the daily operations of a digital advertising startup. This is the perfect opportunity to dig in and get your feet wet learning about the day-to-day operations of a successful startup as well as to earn college credits for experience in the field.
As an intern, you'll work closely with the operations team, providing you with the opportunity to gain a variety of skill sets ranging from account management, ad operations, setting up campaigns, working with different advertising partners etc... You'll also be in contact with a wide network of advertisers, publishers, social media folks and founders attending events in and around the Bay Area. We are looking for someone that is entrepreneurial minded, is adaptable and intelligent.

Responsibilities

You will work within multiple roles and responsibilities from an ad operations manager to a media buyer, account manager, technical integration as we are a startup you will get a crash course in adtech.
Provide technical expertise to clients and ensure successful launch and scaling of their campaigns.
Help solve complex problems around client integration.
Work with sales, marketing, and engineering to improve the VenziMedia platform and customer experience.
Participate in QA testing and feedback on new product releases
Troubleshooting technical issue with existing or new integration.
Upload ad campaigns ad server: Display/Mobile/Social
Create pixels and QA placements as appropriate.
Ensure campaigns flights are setup correctly.
Work closely with Sales/Media/Analysts team for campaigns using multiple segments.
Produce daily reports to send to clients in a timely manner.
Buy Media from our partners to ensure enough and proper traffic.
Negotiate rates to fit within campaign budget and ensure proper margins.
Act as “customer service” to clients.

Requirements

Some knowledge and understanding of how advertising works.
Some knowledge and or understanding of ppc, seo, ad operations, customer service etc....
General understanding of the social media space.
Having some technical skills like working with html, javascript etc would be great also.
The ability to be a team leader and to have passion and foresight for a project
Ability to investigate, analyze & solve problems, and clearly communicate results
Ability to self-start, work independently and problem solve, as necessary while simultaneously maintaining a sense of humor is essential.
