DescriptionWe are looking for an awesome Marketing Operations Intern to join our team. We are looking for someone who can help design marketing campaigns and events, and someone who can have fun while getting a lot done.
This position is designed for someone who is a self-starter requiring little direction, someone who is highly creative, and ambitious. This is an opportunity to practice what you know and love, you will be given a great deal of professional and artistic freedom in this role. The goal of this internship is to provide you with a better understanding of what this marketing role is like on a daily basis, but more importantly a portfolio filled with real examples of work you have created. You will help create promo concepts, social media designs, weekly content, campaigns, and more. Work days will be busy and always changing.
Responsibilities-Creative brainstorming with Creative Director and team members for social media outreach.
-Social Media Monitoring & Analytics – monitor our audience, respond, track, and prepare reports for operations
-Design – submit creative design pitches for new marketing materials
-Social Media control – scheduling posts on Twitter & Facebook, as well as planning Instagram posts
Requirements-Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Advertising, Communications.
-High energy, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humor.
-A basic understanding of social media marketing, brand strategy and development, and communication in a corporate setting.
-Project management (time management) skills.
-A basic understanding of social engagement from a business perspective.
-Experience in creative marketing development.
-The ability to create a portfolio of work you created and executed.
-Networking opportunities with fellow marketing professionals around Boston.
