Description

The International Center for Autism Research and Education is currently searching for advertising sales people to increase our sponsorships, which fund autism research and treatment globally, as well as programs at our Brooklyn based school for pre-schoolers and school aged children.
Pay is on a commission basis (negotiable).

Responsibilities

Duties include contacting and following up with potential donors, discussing and placing appropriate ads that serve the clients. Sales people will place sponsored ads on our two quarterly magazines we publish, and eventually events like our highly attended conferences.

This is a great opportunity for a student currently looking for a flexible sales position to add to their resume. Plus, you will get the satisfaction of helping fund autism research and treatment for children in need!

Requirements

We’re open to working with students or recent graduates who are interested in sales, advertising, communications, media, public relationships, education, autism, social work, brain sciences, disabilities services, etc.
This internship can be virtual and completed at anytime, though preference will be shown for interns in the NYC area.
Advertising or other sales experience is preferred, but drive and a good attitude are the most important things so we will work with you if we can see you have these things.

Skills

Preferred - Advertising Sales, Non-profit Communications, B2B Sales, Appointment Scheduling, Setting Appointments
