Made In Space, Inc., an aerospace startup based at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, is developing breakthrough 3D printing systems for manufacturing in space.

Our goal: radically change the way we do space missions today by building everything you need for space, in space.

Among many other projects, Made In Space has partnered with NASA to launch the first 3D printer to the International Space Station in 2014.

Responsibilities

You will be directly working with our engineering team, developing components for 3D printing in microgravity.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

+ BS in Electrical, Robotics or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
+ Experience with Eagle CAD and Altium Designer
+ Built/debug robotics programs
+ Experience programming embedded systems
+ Expertise with electrical testing and measurement tools
+ C or C++ Programming Language

And as a Bonus:

+ Expert in grounding, impedance, and low EMI design
+ Experience with 3D printers
+ Experience working with NASA and/or Space Station hardware
+ Knowledge of ISS Requirements a huge plus
