About: Rock Creek Farm
Rock Creek Farm's Mission is to add valuable year round growing capabilities and supplement SDA's Community Services current production of fresh produce presently being offered, at no cost to the recipients, through food closets in the Auburn California area.
Rock Creek Farm's Goal is to offer a portion of what is grown and packaged to the public and business sectors for sale with the proceeds being used to foster worthwhile programs throughout the area that serve those in need.
About: SDA's Community Services
The Church is located in the foothills of northern California. SDA's Community Services has a rich history of reaching out in a variety of ways to those who are in need. The Community Garden program is one of these noteworthy services and is now in its 8th year of providing naturally grown fresh produce.
Their Annual Yield ranges from 20,000 to 24,000 lbs. of fresh vegetables. This last year an orchard was planted with expectations that it should add somewhere near 15,000 lbs. of fresh fruit to the mix within the next couple of years.
