Company Information: We help people stand out from the sea of sameness. Our clients are visionaries, start-ups, entrepreneurs, renegades, rule breakers and sometimes trouble makers! Our clients grow their businesses through very unique strategies.

Position: Animator

Location: Virtual. Work from home.

Time Commitment: Approximately 10 hours a week for 20 weeks. (200 hours)

Benefits: In addition to receiving high-level skills and experience that will forward your career goals and immediately increase your prospects for higher-paying, more rewarding jobs, you will also receive mentoring on your resume, interviewing skills, and professional goals. Any work that is not confidential can be added to your professional portfolio. You will work directly with the co-founder of the company and get the inside, behind-the-scenes view of a start-up, virtual, national/international company. You will have access to a variety of training materials on sales, marketing, internship program management, and other topics, worth thousands of dollars. Successful interns will receive a top-notch letter of recommendation and referrals to important business and employment contacts. In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit.

This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!

Working at Julie Braun Design, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Create all animation used in our videos (our talk shows in particular); help script, story board, film, edit and promote videos for testimonials, talk shows, and/or our membership community; work with our YouTube guru and our channel; work hand in hand with our creative team of talented writers, social media and graphic designers! You do not need to be an expert, but rather have a thirst for learning about and growing as an animator

Ideal Candidate:
This is a learning environment; we don't expect you to know everything! To be an ideal candidate, you need educational and/or work experience in animation; experience with video creation and editing is a plus. You should also be creative and be able to conduct some research and analysis. If you want to be an animator someday, this internship will give you that experience!
Students and NON-STUDENTS of any age (over 18) and those transitioning into (or building upon) a digital video career are welcome to apply.

You will need reliable access to an Internet connection, your own computer, Skype, phone. Your own camera and video editing software are also needed - you want to be your own version of Steven Spielberg when you make it big!

Skills and abilities:

Experience using video animation and editing software (After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premier, Adobe Creative Suite 6 or higher, etc). Experience with YouTube, the video production process from start to finish, and researching skills are desirable.

Comfort and proficiency with technology, including email, the Internet, and learning user-friendly software; must be organized, adaptable to changes in projects and priorities; able to multi-task and work independently; reliable, punctual, and able to attend Skype meetings once or twice a week (we will work with your schedule), and able to attend at least 10 Team Meetings.

Please provide video samples before your interview.

Required - Video Production, Animation, Adobe After Effects
