Description

JGID is a full service practice, working on high-end residential, commercial and multi-family projects. Our firm’s reputation has been built by crafting modern environments that are tailored to each client. We are looking for an awesome intern that will contribute to the day to day tasks associated with our design practice. You will work closely with the design team as well as with operations. You will have responsibility for specific design and administration tasks and will have the opportunity to observe all phases of design from schematic design through construction administration as well as full FF&E implementation for residential, commercial and multi family projects.

This is a part time, flexible position for 3 months with the possibility to become long term.

Responsibilities

Operations Support
• Creation of Binders
• Enter Business Cards in to Contacts
• Archiving
• Update Systems/Filing (Paper + Computer)

Communications Support
• Social media content
• Styling for photo shoots
• Creation of web content
• Management of Pinterest Boards

Design Support
• Sourcing of Samples at Design Center
• Sourcing new product for use in projects (finishes, furniture, lighting, fabric)
• In Design presentation layouts
• 3D Renderings
• Survey and documentation of existing furniture
• Assistance in FF&E specifications
• Assistance in product specifications (plumbing, electrical, finish)
• Finish boards
• Maintenance of library
• Return samples to Design Center
• Return samples to vendors via UPS/Mail

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowlege of AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite. Knowledge of Studio Designer and Revit a plus
• Must be able to lift 30 Ibs
• Candidate must have a reliable vehicle, current driver’s license and a good driving record
