The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is one of 12 regional reserve banks in the United States. These banks, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the nation's central bank, which is dedicated to fostering a sound economy and stable financial system.
The primary purpose of the Facilities Department within the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is to manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance and upkeep of the 7th District's buildings. The department is also involved in design and construction projects for these buildings by working with Architects, Engineers and Specialty Consultants.
ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities
Translate hand annotated As Built drawings into AutoCAD
Assist in project reporting and analysis
Create project presentation drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CS5 Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, 3D Max, PowerPoint, etc.
Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day functions of project management
Create and develop signage requirements per Bank standards
Other design/construction management related duties
Requires 20 hours a week. Must be currently enrolled in school.

Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Construction related programs.
Proficient in AutoCAD software (2008 - current version)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2007-2010 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Projects)
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in both individual and team environments
Strong analytical and evaluative skills
Excellent oral and written communications
Must have an excellent academic record and demonstrate leadership abilities
